About
I've founded a business, acquired seven more, and sold five of them. Each one taught me something I couldn't learn from a case study.
Most advisors come from finance. They know the models, the multiples, the process. What they've rarely done is run the product, manage the team, fly out to meet the clients, and rebuild operations from scratch after a messy handover. That's what I've spent the last seven years doing.
The pattern I kept seeing: deals fell apart not at the table, but in the 100 days after close. That's where value gets made or destroyed — and where I've focused most of my work.
I partner with SaaS buyers and operators as both a dealmaker and a hands-on operator, depending on what the situation calls for.
I'm now applying that same operator lens to building products with AI — and writing about what that actually looks like.

Ridgeline had a solid client base across Latin America — enterprise accounts and SMBs — but needed product and operational investment. We delivered a full UX/UI redesign, improved core functionality, introduced AI components, and redesigned the pricing model to better align with client needs, which drove meaningful MRR growth. A key part of the project was successfully integrating a distributed team across Colombia, Peru, and Mexico into a unified culture and operating cadence.

Cobre surfaced red flags in due diligence that we underestimated. Once inside, the tech debt was far larger than assumed — not worth fixing. We struck a deal with the main competitor to transfer all clients to their platform. A hard lesson in due diligence discipline, and one that sharpened how we evaluate tech assets. Led the transition, the negotiation with the competitor, and the full knowledge transfer.

Serra serves a niche but fast-moving market — customer service infrastructure for Web3 and crypto projects. Our acquisition role focused on client discovery: talking directly to existing users to map pain points, satisfaction drivers, and product gaps. Those insights shaped both the acquisition thesis and the post-close roadmap. Since acquiring, we've updated the AI component and launched several highly requested features.
